Anyone with experience on a Brother QL-1050 label printer

I am thinking of trying out the Brother QL-1050 label printer for ebay and/or paypal labels and maybe some Amazon printing.

How is your experience with this type of label printer. I currently use a zebra LP2844 printer using 4x6 labels.

Can the brother print 4x6 labels?

The only that I dont like about the Zebra is the kinda slow speed of the printing.

Brother Q series can have issues with thermal paper.

Generic paper can be iffy.

zp500 Is a great option to your current printer and can be bought on ebay for similar money.

Maybe you know, but if you don't..

Your Zebra has 4 speed settings, and it's very easy to double the speed if yours is currently set at 1.50

Devices and Printers
Right click your Zebra
Select "Printing Preferences"
Select the tab that says "Options"
Drop down menu on "Speed"

Worth giving it a shot anyway. :)

Not to hijack but I have a similar question-- does anyone have a recommendation for 4x6 printer with an auto cutter? I print labels in bulk so I would like it to cut every 2 labels. This way I would print & come back to a neat stack of labels instead of having to split a bunch.

don't they sell precut labels?

yeah I use the 4x6 pre-cut rolls, but I print the packing slips along with the shipping labels and my average is ~80 labels a day, so I have to either have to rip them apart or work with massive trail of labels

Labelwriter 4xl has been my best purchase in terms of business supplies in a very long time. Highly suggest it. Quick and fast and easy to set up

I already have the printing speed set to 3.25. The thing is the slow transfer speed or waiting for the label to print out.

I am only thinking of trying this thermal printer out because its on the ebay list of printing machines.
