I have NEVER seen someone running for ANYTHING especially the Presidency of the United States prevail is such dramatic fashion given the OVERWHELMING odds that were stacked against him, his own Party, the Opposition Party, the VAST majority of the Media and EVERYTHING in between. At this point the ONLY thing left to say is:

Agree, in the end it was all about the vote.....and you have to admit....he really appealed to a certain demographic....he concentrated on a specific group of people.....he won it fair and square.

I actually have mixed feelings on trump. In the one hand, he probably won't start we3 like Hilary might have. On the other hand, I'm not too sure about his business policies, civil rights issues (ala building a wall).

Even so, I'm really surprised that Hilary even got that many votes/electoral colleges.

I think she got as many votes as she did in part because a lot of people would given their vote to her to prevent Trump becoming president, not because they actually support her.

Yes, and Hillary Clinton stealing hundred of Millions of Dollars from the Haitian people definitely helped win the state of Florida. Also all the Cuban pissed off at Obama for restoring relationships with that Commie Dictatorship. :juggle:

I think America should protect its borders(as should European countries) But I'm not sure it will be built, the expense is huge and I can't see Mexico agreeing to foot the bill like Trump says

Out of question how? I understand the theory that Mexico would do it in order to carry on trading with the US as its largest trading partner, but at the same time do you really think that everyone would stop buying from Mexico if they didn't agree to pay for a wall?

To be honest I would be really surprised if they did build a wall but time will tell! We have a similarity problem in the UK will illegal immigration but we already have a mote which really limits how easy it is to get the UK from mainland Europe

whats wrong with saying you want people to come legally in to your country? there has to be a deterrent and consequences or there is no point having legal-illegal status....this will be a field-day for the lawyers unfortunately.....

its like in UK, when they have a kid or get married or I even saw a case where they couldn't abandon their bloody cat, and the human rights lawyers get involved...

and as for his comments on abortion, well I am pro-choice but even I think that the time-limits are way too generous....if you have ever seen your 11 week scan for your own baby, it ain't a ball of cells...I think it should come down to under than scan date....apart from special circumstances.....
