One of the saddest things about Cruyff is he used to be a heavy heavy smoker. Stopped smoking in 1991 but sucumbed to lung cancer a decade or so later.

No, he had coronary bypasses done (quadruple in fact). After that he used lollipops to replace cigarettes.
