Need to make a payment in USA
 

Hi guys

I need to make a payment in the USA.

I have a USA address available where I can have the goods delivered to.

The site won't accept my credit card as, for billing address it only has US option.

I have tried paypal but will only accept an American paypal.

Whats the best option for me? Any work around?

Are you able to use a payment service other than paypal?

Visa MasterCard AMEX however they need to be US registered

I meant paying some other way which wouldn't involve using a credit card.

Moneygram or Western Union are two options I frequently use. Fees are lower than P/P and there is no ID verification whatsoever, so your address wouldn't be an issue. However, as I'm sure you know, neither of those services offer any sort of buyer protection. So only send money to a trusted associate..

I guess a relevant question would be: What are you trying to buy, and where are you trying to buy from?

Wow, those are some of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen!

Since you're attempting to purchase from an established retailer, I doubt you'll be able to use any payment service other than theirs. Have you tried contacting the website's support staff? Surely a retailer like this has procedures in place for processing international orders.

You will probably get some more useful advice when UK members chime in.

Entropay may be an option in this scenario but I'm not familiar with entropay, so I can't say for sure if that would be any use.

No I've not tried entropay.

Is that likely to work?

I didn't want to add funds to the card as they take a percentage and then still not be able to purchase the item

I don't know that it will work for that website BUT I have used entropay for other US Websites with success. Hopefully someone else can give you a more for sure answer on entropay and that website.

I would recommend Entropay for this as well like MM78 said - if you have any problems on setup, ask away. EP doesn't share info with other services.

There will be bit of fees sadly :(
