For people using USAA bank or thinking of using them
 

I use USAA bank for 2 paypals accounts to withdraw to. I got a nice letter today saying that they will close down the 2 bank accounts attach to the 2 paypal accounts that I use to withdraw.

They still accepts deposits in mismatched names but when I spoke with the fraud department 10 minutes ago, they told me that those accounts will be closed do to business transactions. The two bank accounts are personal accounts, not business accounts. They dont do any business bank accounts.

The nice woman told me that they are cracking down on business transactions usage. They did not close all accounts or banned me, they are just closing those 2 accounts. So I am still good for now.

I still use them because they where the 1st bank when I started selling on ebay. But I might not use them anymore.

So thread lightly with USAA form now on for those using them.

So paypal business accounts that did deposits to ussa personal checkings got shut down not because of mismatch but because business paypal into personal checking? But mismatched personal paypal going into personal usaa is still ll good?

Just because he conducted business on personal accounts. Bank of America does this a lot.

The paypal accounts was not upgraded into a business account. The deposits were coming in, in a stealth name of the paypal account.

Now that those accounts are closed, I only have business accounts at all the banks that I use. I stopped using personal accounts some time ago, its just that these are very old ebay/paypal accounts, two of my oldest infact.

I was only bringing in about 3-$6,000usd per month with each account.

Yes. Move a decent amount of money in personal accounts and Bank on America will close them. TD as well(TD does not like miss matched name deposits on personal accounts)

Maybe TD in USA - TD in Canada for me has been great on moving a lot of money in mismatched names...still, need to spread the deposits too

What is a lot? a few thousand a week? I though you have been saying you dont really sell much.

TD USA has been problematic for many now for years on personal accounts.
