TV, lazy person's drug
 

The quality of television has spiraled down. There is literally nothing to watch on it. 24, the new world order propaganda. News, they don't show the real news. Cop shows, sick of cops. House, why don't they just accept that he's right. CSI, Law and Order, NCSI, we get it, bending laws is allowed, train us now for something else. The only thing left to watch are a few shows on Discovery, Animal Planet, and History channels.

Seriously, there used to be time in my life when I didn't watch or listened to news at all. I got all my news from myspace bulletins. Truth movement is in full swing on myspace. I would know what is happening throughout the world, and then I would know what will happen in the next 2 weeks. FOX can't beat that.

The final straw to TV news for me was during Georgia - South Ossetia conflict. That's when FOX news anchor used NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programming, on South Ossetian little girl and her mother. They told him it was Georgians who attacked first and who were killing innocent civilians trying to escape. Obviously anchor didn't like the doze of truth, after all they were working hard to conceal the Israeli and US sponsored conflict, and during 911 they worked hard to make you believe Osama Bin Ladin attacked us.

My point is, the news you see on TV is crap.

You download it, install it, and it plays right on your desktop. Best news channel is R.T.. Watching that for 30 minutes gives you stocks, sports, and the real news, no commercials. In comparison, watching 30 minutes of FOX news gives you 15 minutes commercials, then 1 lousy news about something that doesn't even really matter.


So, why am I writing this? I want you guys to take a few steps back and see the forest.

I'm pretty sure most of us agree Fox news sucks.

I try not to watch too much TV, it's a waste of time.

Come on now spongebob is the bomb. I can't believe no one watches spongebob. LOL I don't watch much tv except for wed. when lost and damages is on.

Damages is WAY COOL!!!!



PS - On Thursday evenings, checkout BBC America. Dragon's Den is the best show EVER.....

I don't watch TV much. But I do like Man versus wild. Sponge bob was cool, and I still continue to watch it. LOL.

I love tv but i dont have time since I spend my time online - most of the time I just watch the shows directly from the network's site, or torrent lol - Multitasking.

TV does allow the possibility of excercising while watching shows. Or at the very least standing up instead of sitting.

So i bought seasons 3,4 and 5 of Entourage here.
Stayed up for 3 nights till 3am watching it.
Real funny stuff.

I like to watch satire shows. South park, american dad, the boondocks, family guy and futurama back when they had new episodes. Sci-fi shows are alright too, battlestar and stargate and shows like burn notice when I catch it on.

Im not much of a tv person, i use to be but not so much anymore. I like to indulge in Sex and the City episodes on the occasion. Season 4 is just...hilarious to me, i can watch it a million times over. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert a couple favs...and Family Guy. I use to follow Greys Anatomy but...they are trying to hard this season to stay interesting.

At some point I'll watch all of the show House on DVD.

lol Thats funny!......That charlie sheen show, two and a half men is pretty good though......only seen it a few times.. but i liked it alot

WOW! I am surprised to see some peeps mention Burn Notice...... One of my fav new shows the last couple years.....Not sure how many people remember the show THE PRETENDER, which was on NBC about 10 yrs ago.. But the main charactor on Burn Notice (Michael), was on The Pretender for half a season toward the end of the series...Good actor!

I saw the latest episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles yesterday...

A lot of nothing happened...

It's still interesting.. but come on.. no more back peddling.. keep things moving along.

have never gotten into this terminator show... any good at all??? just seems a bit of a stretch to try anyhing terminator related without Arnold....

and i hear they are making a 4th terminator movie now..

Maximum...You are correct. Burn Notice is a Great show. Its my guilty pleasure. Terminator is enjoyable.....Some episodes are better than others, but its a good watch...
