Zebra 2844z - change scale of label

So I got my Zebra in yesterday and after a few hours of struggling I've got it configured to print with the stamps.com application. But I need my labels to print a bit smaller. I've scoured the internet and can find literally NOTHING about this topic, so I thought I would try checking with the e-commerce community since many of you use these things daily.

With the laserjet printer I've been using I could easily go into printer preferences and change the scale of everything printed. This would allow me to print my labels smaller while not altering the layout of a label or messing anything up. But apparently thermal printer drivers are an entirely different animal. I've tried changing the "label size" to get a smaller label, but this results in text being skewed and an overall unusable label.

I know chances are slim that I'll get a useful answer, but this is a last resort.

Does anyone know how to change the scale of a label printed with a Zebra 2844-z?

I never had to.

Every label prints perfectly every time. I use the model you have(more than 15 years olf by the way) and mostly zp500 without flaw.

You are selecting thermal printers in stamps/workstation/ebay/amazon right?

Sorry yankee, I'm just noticing that I got a response.

I have it working, and set up to print postage just fine. All of my labels are technically "perfect", I'm just looking for a way to scale down certain shipping labels for small orders.
