Shipping Large Items What's the Best Service?

I got a bulky TV that is about 40" wide and 16 lbs I can't find a affordable service to ship with. My competing is offering free shipping. I contacted two or three pretending to be a customer and asked what service they used and how long will it take to hwy to me if I'm in ga (pretending not to want slow economy mail), only one replied saying her factory decides at the time of purchase is either usp, usps or Fedex.

What do you guys think?

Those are your only three options. All should exceed $40.00 in shipping. Could be a lot more depending on destination.

@Swizzle, don't forget you will likely need to insure that too - maybe consider selling it for local pickup only? Or have you sold it already to some distant buyer...

I haven't sold it yet, I canceled an őrder that was pretty far because I had free shipping on it. Like I said I don't get how people are selling this thing online. ..half the sales price, not profit, will be eaten up by the shipping. The seller told me that she has no say in how is shipped her factory does, so I'm guessing these people might be fulfilling with Amazon which is why they can afford to sell them but I'm not sure. They are selling on ebay and fulfilling with Amazon.

I normally always use usps, I was asking the question just in case you guys know of fedex or ups being cheaper for long objects like tvs. I also tried to sell on Craigslist but nobody is replying, I think I need to change up pictures on ad. I'm surprised nobody is buying, I think they are skeptical of the price or something

Either UPS or USPS are going to be your cheapest options. Go to their sites and calculate the price respectively to find which is cheaper exactly.

Typically Fedex comes in at 20-30% cheaper than UPS.

Interesting you have found different.
