USPS problem with California
 

I shipped quite a few packages to CA along with others to different states on the 31st. The ones to CA haven't moved from the second stop in my state, but all of the other items to different states have been delivered. Its the 7th now seems like they would have been updated by now?

Did you pay sufficient postage? No hazardous items inside the packages?

This happens all the time with my orders. One out of every hundred or so will reach the sort facility in my state, then won't be scanned for several days/weeks afterwards. This leads many buyers to believe their order has been lost and I end up refunding or reshipping in a lot of cases. But in almost every case, the parcel starts moving again and is eventually delivered.

It sucks, I know. Nobody here can do anything to help though unfortunately. Have you called the postal service yet?

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, where are you shipping from? Anywhere near the east coast?

The items were finally updated yesterday, I was worried all of them got detained for some reason lol.
@rsot - Yes I had paid the correct postage, nothing hazardous in them.
@phaz0rz - I had a lot of buyers complaining, asking me if I knew anything. Gets annoying telling 10+ people that I can'tt see anything more than they can with the tracking. Yes, I'm shipping from east coast

Tell me about it. I hope it doesn't become a regular thing for you. But unfortunately I've been getting 3 or 4 of these per week since the beginning of 2016.

We had problems with postage for Northern CA.

Annoying to say the least.

Updates being missed seems too common now.

I kind of figured USPS out a few years ago, and here is the answer. USPS is a broken system, they put patches on some of their policies and procedures from time to time. But from the local Post Offices and all the way through it just seems that the management runs on the same system that a farmer(no offense farmers, i am one too) does who has a "Close the barn door after the cow got away"mentality. I am personally waiting to see how many more years it will take before no more USPS period. The positive is when it runs correctly, it really does it well, for ever how long that is at a time. :sleepy:

I hear you loud and clear.

Australian Postal Service is in the same state.

For many of our other US packages we use FEDEX. We pay the premium but the items are premium too.

It's happened to me when shipping to California and when receiving things
from Cali. I don't know what it is but there definitely is a problem.
I don't have that problem with any other state. Just California.
