| aspkin | 02-27-2009 03:30 PM | Good SEO. I like the shopping cart.
You might want to get a new header.. maybe a professional one.
Your site lacks trusting elements to it. Look at your competitor's sites and see what they have that you don't.
It looks good though. |
| TGMT² | 02-27-2009 03:56 PM | WOW! I didn't know that kind of equipment was so affordable. |
| TMiles | 02-27-2009 05:16 PM | Aspkin,
First thanks. The SEO is helping. With no advertisng, in the last four months, we are up to about 30 new visitors a day averaging 4 page hits. I will look at the header.
We are mostly doing installation and sales. Some of the "online" sales only have great sites. However, the competition in installations, in Texas, anyway, have horrible sites. In fact, this site looked somewhat amateur until I updated it and people still called.
Could you elaborate on the trusting elements...
Thanks again,
T. |

People like to see bright websites, that look professional.
You're right, I couldn't find a lot of professional looking websites for what you're doing.
I found a decent one though, check it out. SOLAR PANELS•Home & RV Solar Panel Systems•We know solar panels! |

WOW!!! Please double check your own grammar and punctuation, before offering "professional" services. Maybe its just me, but I hate "instant messaging" English....LOL |

Aspkin,
You, my friend, are correct. Since this started as a more of a local electrician's site, I built it from there. Now, I am moving them to Internet e-commerce, I need to add those things. Just building a small product line has been extremely difficult....
PS - We got two orders last night!!! |
| aspkin | 02-28-2009 11:24 AM | Well you got the hard part done.. the products and most of the content..
Now you just need to work on design and a professional look.
With websites like these it's an on going process to make them bigger and better to increase sales and traffic. It's fun!
I made a website a couple years ago based on selling virtual currencies for online games. It took my about a month to put it together, but it came together.
Overtime I worked on making it bigger and better and increasing it's traffic.
Month after month sales increased by at least 50%...
The more you work on it, making it better.. etc the better it'll do.
Good luck! You're website is headed in the right direction. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:22 AM. | |
