The country was being held to ransom by them, she showed whose boss by stock pilling the coal so they couldn't do it again, I have zero sympathy, she was great for the UK and businesses were booming!

I think the poll tax was a very fair way of doing things personally. I never understand why (as an example) 1 old lady living in a £1m house would have to pay more for council services than 5 people living in a £200k house when she would use 1/5 of the council resources.

I am reporting what I uderstood talking to people at the end of 80s when I was living in UK.
I was in a quite depressed area and no one was happy about poll tax nor Tatcher being prime minister.

That said, I am still wondering who or what is Theresa May?

Seems a long wait for a simple comment on a person going to become Leader of a reasonably important World Power.
Or am I being too generous to call UK that?

Home Secretary and campaigned against Brexit but has the slogan 'Brexit means Brexit' so will be taking us out of the EU. She was by most accounts a 60/40 RE leaving the EU

Very strategic thinker. Hard nosed. Forward thinking liberal conservative. Similar in facets to Angela Merkel

Personal life - Unable to have kids (she has been very open about this) and married to a banker. Member of the COE. Type 1 diabetic.

She will be very good for the UK IMO and has already suggested a new sort of yearly fiscal budget going away from the Osborn budgets of the past few years.

As a conservative myself I'm extremely pleased with the appointment and her immediate sacking of George Osborn will certainly please many people. A fairer Britain, for those who live fairly.

What happened with Osbourne? nobody is mentioning just why he got sacked, he must be really unpopular internally...

These women should stick to dark suits, as they do not know how to dress. Honestly I am all about the clothes, and from my TV watching last night I concluded.......Theresa May, well brown leopard shoes with a black and yellow outfit, too much cleavage....nope.

The Queen, much as I like her, block-a-boot black shoes and handbag unmatched to pastel floral dress, nope...why cant these people put colours together?

at least in Europe they know how to dress, and that is a fact....
