Strangest place you have made a ebay, Amazon, or Paypal account
 

Lets tell some stories and name the strangest place(s) any of you guys/girls have made your selling accounts. It could be on any selling platform.

I once made 1 ebay selling account at a strip club with those old netbooks when they where so popular about 5 years ago. I used their wifi (public wifi), I didnt know better to use public wifi but that account lasted over 2 years.

Took me over 1 hour to make it. Kept getting distracted with the girls walking around.

Not that strange, as I do not really do strange things, but years ago, when you could withdraw to card from certain countries, I happened to be in Luxembourg and made an account there, via hotel wifi, I was only travelling through Lux as I had been to Austria and did a detour on the way to south of france...

Quickest though is I went on overdrive and made loads around 2009-2011 and I have dozens, in fact I could make an ebay and paypal combo inc email in the time it took spaghetti to boil......the cards were pre-prepared though, a bit like the sauce...

on a side note, I always thought the idea of strip joints as bars in USA were sleazy invention, that you can casually go to one in place of a Pub or bar.......I wonder what these guys partners think of it, or they probably are used to it.....class-less

Hehe well said about the strip club thing oompa, I had to read that bit twice to take it in!, I've been married for over 35 years, my husband works for the largest employer in the area, again for over 35 years. We have seen tremendous changes of course over the years, too many divorces, long term separations, people who married the wrong people or who can't keep the trousers zipped! It is great to have the comfort of a long term marriage while watching others around us falling apart.

What you were saying about guys going to strip clubs and what their partners feel about it, either they don't know about it, or they are divorced or separated more than likely. Could even be just a sign of the times in the good old gun toting mentality of the US of A.

I know it is off subject, but I often see it in US movies, even in simpsons, family guy etc, eg. go for a cops meeting, and its in one of these joints, its so casual. Over here, we dont have them like that thank goodness.....not the same but I was in Germany recently and they have a brothel on every corner now, and they are really struggling for business, as men realise it isnt that interesting once if becomes commonplace hehe, and of course as you say, a relationship is far superior and happier environment, the people that visit must be unhappy in some way.........

but we are off subject....dont try and contradict the girls on this thread you boys, as we have reinforcements..........

just thought of user Sax, thought he mentioned that he makes them on his roof in Ukraine, not sure if it is to get neighbours wifi or just better coverage...

That was my neighbour trying to get a signal :)

No strange places for me, sometimes in cafes, people probably thought i was a spy changing sim cards all the time

bloody hell sax that was a quick reply...did you hear your name being mentioned in the ether?

OP wants crazy stories, we just cant give it to him.....like account made in the whitehouse or in a uranium mine....

I think made up stories would work best.

I think I made an account in PCWORLD, I needed a "Clean machine" for Amazon I said to the sales assistant "Would you mind awfully if I tested this fine looking laptop?", I then proceeded to hook it up to my mobile wifi and knocked out an Amazon account in under 5 minutes whilst the geeky looking assistant looked on in bemusement. He asked me what I thought of the slinky Lenovo, I said "In all honesty, Rubbish", I then went to the mobile section, bought 50 sim cards and left.
