Amazon Dash - What do you think about it?
 

So Amazon have come up with this button that orders stuff for you. I get excited with advances in tech, but I don't know what to think of this one.

So whats your opinion? Do you think you'll ever use one?

One thing I can't see mentioned anywhere is what's the battery life like on this?! It would be really annoying to have to change its batteries, ever!

Overall I just think its a lazy approach to buying (as if we wer'nt lazy enough having things delivered to us), but moreso, who gets to fulfill these orders? - buybox members, or only Amazon? If its only AZ I can only think that's plain greedy.

Hmmm, I saw they had one for ordering Doritos... I'm so tempted but than I remember I can just walk down a block and pick up Doritos anytime I want.

Most people use amazon to buy things they cannot buy locally at a shop, or possibly they might choose amazon if it was cheaper than the shops.

...it works for people in a hurry, but it is not like you get the goods instantly - or is it a same day option? even hurried people go to the supermarkets or shops for all their other stuff....people that live far from lower priced supermarkets might go for it, if they were in a real hurry for eg. washing powder..

I agree with the articles mentioning of the environmental factor too....
