Hello All,

I am currently using a Three SIM with a USB dongle for my accounts.

The speed is mostly okay, but sometimes not quiet fast enough and the reliability is acceptable for what it is, but I want to investigate my options and hopefully have an open discussion.

It works well for the stability of my accounts, all of which are between 1-2 years old.

I have used MiFi devices and various dongles in the past.

Results will obviously vary with these services as we all live in different areas.

Ideally I would like to find a solution that is as fast/reliable as normal broadband (I know top end broadband will always be better), but I'm not looking to use a phone line and I do not want to be locked into any long subscriptions. The monthly cost is not an issue, if it was to save me even 5 minutes a day, it adds up quick.

I often access the accounts over a remote connection Teamviewer, which I deemed best for my needs.

What are you guys currently using?

Currently using Three mobile Mifi, speed has been great, no problems at all.

Used o2 dongle at one point but it was useless, that was slow!!

Also currently using some cheap VPs's aswell. No problems with them either.

Obviously the problem with a SIM is it's based on your location, so why EE, T-Mobile & Vodafone are terrible for me, they may be good for someone else.

Having said that, I have used Three successfully in Kent, London and Teesside.

I have just ordered a 4G SIM off of eBay, so I will give that ago, as my current SIM is 3G.

What MiFi/Three SIM are you using?

I'm using the Huawei E5573 4G Mobile Wi-Fi mainly. Have been for quite some time.

Is that a monthly subscription for the SIM?

Yeah, i'm running 20 accounts on it. Basically costing me £1 per month for each account.

All accounts doing well and over 1.2yr old. 24 month contract it is.

I'm running 2 mifi contracts, 5 VPS accounts and few other dongles...
