Windows 10 stop updates and how to save user settings for firefox?
 

Hi, some help guys please?

1. I have firefox and I need to re-install windows, how do I save user settings for ebay and paypal and re-install those settings after re-installing windows or am I doing it wrong?

2. How do I stop windows updating by force? I thought I disabled everything and windows forces you to update to new security patches and the latest one with the anniversary update changed the start button design and I hate it.

astralman, I do not think I am able to turn off updates on my windows10 home edition.
The other night I was hit by the "annyversary update", a massive and useless update that put my PC on hold for more than an hour :mad:

I think windows10 is as nice as Mr. empirestate above... avoid it.

Maybe try 'O&O ShutUp10' software from this website - you can have a read of it and see if it is for you.
