They are much better but the best ones that I have found and use on my forums are these...

Smileys - Free Smiley Faces Collections for your Forums

Click on "Smileys collection 1", they look a bit more mordern, web 2.0, whatever you want to call it.

They are cool. I nagged aspkin about changing them in the first place. Did not realize they were going to be big & ugly. aspkin came to the rescue again for the forum and changed them.

I didn't even notice until I got a new monitor for my laptop and I could see they looked like crap.
