In the media section

Is there an app or something for the forum that can screen news sites or google news for specific words and then post the article a News or In the Media section that we should have?

Getting updates on ebay, paypal, vero, and that nature is always a good read.

That info can come to a user via email. Would you want a media section read only? Discussions on different topics would get too mixed. Make a media thread too hard to follow.:pout:

Read only would probably be best. I can imagine what the replies would be to articles. "wow", "thats crazy", "im not surprised". Itd be an easy way to boost post count. So read-only would be best IMO.

Without doing so maliciousy, I would probably end up being one of the users guilty of that. Read Only would be the way to go.

Some keywords could be: ebay, paypal, bank of america, BAC, washington mutual, wamu, vero, replica, counterfeit, usps, ups, fedex, dhl.

You can see how my mind is working in order.

That can be a bad thing since people would want to get into the executive section and they will post in order to get into it. I think only member with 250 posts or more should be allowed to post a thread in the media section.

Read only would be best. Some people only get to 250 by saying nothing of use. It would only invite them to do it more. no offense. Just a good topic section for good reading.
