Getting rid of commenting on super old threads
 

I think we shouldn't be able to comment on super old threads. If a thread is from 2015 there is no reason why we should keep on posting about it in 2018. Just read the thread and keep it moving.

In most cases when people post on old threads (a couple years old or more), it's relevant. It's rare that it isn't relevant and or spam. It doesn't make sense to auto close those thread in that case.

Personally I find it annoying when forum topics from other websites are closed when I find it years after the discussion.

New changes, rules, issues are coming to our life day by day, solutions found on old threads are no longer working, hence we should keep old threads with new up to date solutions to ease our life. Its just my suggestion.

Some things will always be very relevant.

I like going through years old threads, learning from the experience of others and seeing how so many people have gotten back stronger than ever on eBay and getting the odd update on old threads gives everyone hope and drive.

Some of the best threads on the forum are from 5/6 years ago
