Guideline of what is allowed to post and not
 

Hi,

I am looking to some kind of guideline for this forum, on what is allowed to be posted and not, because I get a tons of my posts deleted and I have literally no clue why, they are not unrespectful, not of bad language, etc.

An example would be this thread:

The guy got his original post deleted, where I tried to explain how to do it and added a link to the upload page from Paypal. Well, it got deleted and he openend another thread, where my reply stating that his "initial post got deleted"... was, well, deleted.

So, I am kinda lost here, as this is not the first time, I noticed couple of times where people had problems about sellers here on this forum, the post gets deleted. That is really unfortunate, I was advertising this forum on other forums for the services offered here, and always added that if something is wrong, you could openly complain about it.

So, my question, is there some sort of guideline available, ie. not talk about certain topics?!

Hello my North Korean friend.

This is generally how the moderation team moderates:
- if you're talking about something illegal or trying to help somebody do something illegal your post will be deleted or edited
- if you're trash talking the forum or a vendor here without justification, your post will be deleted
- if you're being vulgar or spewing nonsense your post will be deleted or edited
- if you otherwise violate any of the rules posted in the FAQ your post will be edited or deleted

This forum walks a fine line. Most of the security advances on the eBay and Amazon platforms over the last 15yrs have probably been, at least partially, directly because of this forum. So you need to be careful what you say or else you can be shooting us all in the foot.
