I am not sure why posts are being removed when they appear to ONLY discuss topics that deal with getting competitive selling advantage such as 'lucrative supplier lists or HOT items.

Come on this is ridiculous. Don't prevent people from learning about selling on ebay. If you want to compete, do it fairly not by withholding information. How can you develop any trust here?

You answered your own question. 'You are not sure when they appear to be only....'
There's a fine balance for what can be said and what should not be said.

Re: Post #1

Um, what does this relate to? I'm not quite clear on what you are saying.

If I understand it even partially correct, I might make the following comment:

This is a forum mainly for ebay suspension issues, not really a forum for ebay lessons on every ebay topic. Some things do get posted and do remain. But that's due to the niceness of the mods and the site owner.

Posts here should be considered as open and may be viewed by the public or the staff of virtual retailing sites (ebay, Amazon, etc). Discussing certain methods in great detail may enable others to block these methods or exploits. We don't benefit ourselves when we help the enemy.

Technically, anything that is not DIRECTLY related to ebay suspension issues would be out of place and thus does not belong.

Perhaps the specific posts your are vaguely referring to were significantly out of the scope of this site (???).

If I am completely misunderstanding your statements, you may disregard my inane rambling.
