I'm thinking of adding a new section to the forum that can handle these discussions: tracking, wholesale , customs, import, UPS, USPS, DHL, EMS

Name for the section I have so far is: Shipment Talk

Any other name suggestions?

The name of the thread should be called: blackhat section

Blackhat is too general of a term and not what this section will be for..

I don't know about a name but that forum topic is a good one. We can trade shipping tips & tricks, where to get cheap materials from, etc. thanks

No, it's going to pertain to shipping, customs. It to talk about problems with items getting landed. Users can get advice about what to do.
Cheap materials is another topic entirely. Mainly here, suppliers dont get shared in any case. :pop2:

I'd say S&M Talk - for Shipping and Materials =) Although, you might get some creative ideas about it ha.

Or maybe S.H.T Duties - Talk for shipping, handling, tracking and custom/duties.

I'm interested in what are some better options for me instead of going to the USPS everyday and paying 70cents per DC. lol. Thats why a shipping forum would be good. I can't wait to start asking a bunch of questions haha. I know there are forums out there that offer shipping talk but it would be nice to have one here.

Start your own thread and ask away. Every member here does shipping of some type or another. You will have no problems getting the answers you are looking for.

Buy a label printer and use paypal multi-order shipping.

Not sure why you are not using paypal shipping labels....19 cents for delivery confirmation...cant be beat...one good thing about paypal. If you even have just one out of 100 mailing that are priority mail you can request a free mail carrier pickup through USPS.com....also you can leave a note in your mailbox with your flag up that says "I have packages that need to be shipped, please ring the doorbell" or leave a note as to where your packages are i.e. front porch....saves a ton of time waiting in line at the PO and gas money as lwell as all that money that adds up for delivery confirmation. Anyone thinking of abbreviations, it wouldn't be a good idea. Newbies would look at the title of the section and just sit there and go... "WTF is that"

I can't come up with anything great, "Shipment Talk" seems best so far I guess. Seems like most the threads are always about customs so that should be a subforum under "Shipment Talk" I think.

FEDEX -- anyone use them for shipping from China?
I use DHL with stealth names/addresses, I have an 'arrangement' with my DHL guy. :)

Do I have to sign for shyt with FedEx? Can it just be dropped off at an address?

FedEx requires a signature all the time. But not necessarily ID.

I don't have experience with FedEx from China though.

Guys I created Shipping Talk hours after creating this thread.. it's been up for days.

Shipping Talk is a sub-forum under Wholesale Discussions

No, because as I was thinking of creating Shipping Talk, I found other topics that were similar (wholesale discussions) and so I made shipping talk a sub category under that.

I don't like a lot of clutter either. If something looks messy I tend to get agro. :boink:
