It is a joke to think that your only costs revolve around website design especially going up against well established, successful competitors. You are forgetting that it is a full-on business. With your type of thinking you will lose your shirt.

Tons of programming along with it. c++, java, the list goes on and on.

There will always be competition. If you remember builder square from back in the day? Well, HQ came out, put them out, then another company came out put those out, and so on. Now it's some other company.

Coca Cola only sold 600 bottles it's first year in business. Look at them today! With numbers like online members these days, there will always be enough money for everyone! Look around.

But yeah I wouldn't even want to do this. I don't want something I have to sit there and watch and come up with better ideas then the other guys and so on.

Ghost - I think you would be better off starting small and starting a website for items you sell. This is a lot more realistic and easily doable

Yeah you are right it's way out there and very complex and so much to keep up with and so on.

OP, you cannot be the only person to think of this and someone with a whole stack of $ to get it going. Got to be way more beyond the smoke and mirrors.

Also is there a chance you live where medical 420 is legal? I would have strong suspicions. LMFAO LOL
