Yo Aspkin here's a SUGGESTION for you! I think all members would agree with me + $ 4u

So being online on your forum is like a drug here. I love reading the forums and what other people are doing and how they are doing. Your Stealth book is just awesome! The people who are on your forum stick around because of you & other members. I really love the site. I can learn a lot from just being here, tips and tricks really. How to build up feedback and so on.

So here is my suggestion for you. Since you sell those ebooks of yours for like $37 or whatever prices. You are pretty smart (by now your hair is standing) lol.

I think saying this all members would agree with me.

Most of us are looking for ways to cut down on timing with orders and making things easier for us all.

Since you have a website and so on, no idea how good your skills are. Could you build us a website for EB? Here is what most of us want from what I've read. Something like PushAuction, where we can have multiple stealth accounts, to process all orders, I know USPS gives you a deal if you ship more then 240 items per day and with the giving amounts of members on the site with just 1 or 2 sellers who have many stealth accounts it can be done. No idea how much work or time it would take to get into that system. And also you could reply too emails with all those accounts from just one location, and if you could also post auctions from it. And a cool fee of $20 or so per month. I am sure a lot of people from this forum would flock out too you to use that service!

- Print postage
- Reply to all customer emails on stealth accounts
- Post Auctions

+ we could add a VPS/VPN service to set up stealth accounts (for an additional fee)
+ having links with picture uploading/hosting not from our site but tell them where to get it from.
+ A link to free or provide free templates
+ Just for kicks putting google adsense on it for more $ for page views (Every 1 million views = $2,000). And for those who can't figure it out on youtube, when people post crap and get millions of views and others complain! They do it for the money for those of you who don't understand it.

With one account only. You already can get the business from most of us on your forum here. No idea how much work this would all be but it's pretty cool.

This should surely beat using VPS/VPN for most people, with the speed they are using and so on.

What do you guys think? 1 stop do it all?

Maybe I should subcontract it out, you guys can register it here in Luxembourg. Where internet companies only pay taxes on 20% of the profits and only 30% taxes making it 5.5 to 6% taxes out of the 100% wouldn't be such a bad idea. Just get someone to look at pushauctions too see how their system works and so on. And build our own? Anyways if any of you do this. I want FREE membership FOR LIFE! Call the site "all in 1" or something like that or "1 stop" and have aspkin put it in his ebooks! :) For a small yearly fee maybe even or word of mouth! Or we can direct sellers to this forum if they have any problems with EB accounts ;) = they'll buy his ebook! Just saying.

I mean come on pushacutions has chinese written all over the site with no help support and people still pay big bucks for it!

Auctiva ranking 2,423rd website in the world with it being 908 in the USA
With 17.1 million visits per month and page views of 78 million = very good momey.
And page views of at least 947 million per year.

Now pushauction is ranked 17,572 I am sure if it was in english with support would be ranked higher website in the world rank.
With it's 3.3 million visits per month and 15.5 million page views.
Only 187 million page views per year.

Inkfrog on the other hand ranked 6,289th site. Not bad 2,640 from rank in the USA.
With 4.7 million hits per month, 22 million page loads per month.
Along with 264 million page views per year.

I am sure if you can offer better services as these guys you can be on top. It can take a very long time or a very short time! And word of mouth.
Give 2 months FREE to people, or cheaper price then auctiva and then after a few months bump the price up, since people will see the service being very good they won't even care to change it no more and we'd offer them things other sites won't.

This would really be a VERY long term business plan.

Any suggestions by users?

A noble idea but I doubt Aspkin has time for it. Perhaps subcontract it out and make it into a business opportunity?

Good thinking though :thumb:

Time = Money. And there is not enought money to be made for the devotion to the project. Personally I would avoid it.

Maybe some of us on the site could look into it and do it for our selves?

Not a bad idea. I wonder how much it would cost.

Avoid using cr*p talk like 'yo aspkin' if you want his attention.

Business is not a ball game.

Sounds pretty good

When you come up with what you believe to be an amazing idea, it is always best to give yourself a little time to calm down. Once you get past the utopian fantasy of your idea, you have to take a step back and get to the hard facts of your idea. You have to look at the costs, the money, the amount of people you need, and the time and work it would take to develop. You have to look at obstacles, the competition, and expected revenue. I could go on and on but the single most important thing one must consider before getting into any business venture is the opportunity cost of getting involved. I'm not saying your idea isn't good but the minimum you need to know before even suggesting the idea is the break even analysis and the cost to acquire a customer. My estimate is you need between 250K-500K to get this off the ground.

lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lll It wasn't cr*p talk here look at the title again!

"Yo Aspkin here's a SUGGESTION for you! I think all members would agree with me + $ 4u" I had put in "hey" but then I ran out of words that I had to use the ending of "4u" without spaces! Cause I ran out of space! Plus being tired late at night. I could of just not put "hey" so I put "yo" as in "hello" cause "he" or "hy" no one would get lol.

Cause here in Lux some people say "yellow" and not "hello" with an accent.

SORRY DONT SHOT ME!

Geesh 250k to 500k just to program the site too the liking of it? Seems a bit very high don't you think? I was thinking under $10k too be honest.

How did you come up with the 250k to 500k for it?

India has programmers, that are not that expensive. And do a pretty good job. I remember looking at making a cam girl XXX website back in the day would not even cost more then $10k just to have it done. But then you come into laws and regulations of opening up a web base business like that.

I think those numbers are way up there. For that kind of money you can really make a lot more I believe. I could be wrong on it.

GreenBean 01-22-2013 07:08 AM

As a ball park figure that would allow the site to be professional.

Tacky is never going to displace ebay.

Yeah I mean that is pretty much a lot of money. You can do so much with that amount! I would def not invest that kind of money for EB!

I can't even begin to understand why you'd waste so much time on thinking of such a huge business plan for someone ELSE lol.

aspkin 01-22-2013 03:15 PM

I appreciate the suggestion but there are other services that better specialize in this sort of work and not to mention the 3rd party trust with eBay. I'm not sure how eBay would treat an aspkin built website and it's users. It would be DOA.

There are several other factors going against it's success of course.

GhostWhoWalks 01-22-2013 03:15 PM

I didn't think it would cost so much money. I figured okay $10k in programming of the website! The Dot com what? $5! Hosting Unlimited for like $12.99. I mean 250k to 500k.

I could do a lot with that.
I didn't even think it would be that HUGE!

Yeah sorry man, I didn't know it be that expensive, and all. Just figured since so many are kind of having a hard time and it would save time and what not.

aspkin 01-22-2013 03:22 PM

I don't think it would be THAT expensive to get it going, rather the time involved would be huge.

NGALO1983 01-22-2013 05:36 PM

You could try it for yourself and report back to us on how you did. I mean every big company you see today started very small then built their way up. Just saying....

Yeah you are right. I don't think it would be that much either. Freelancer.com offers great stuff. I had these people write me programs in the past before for like $20 and under and back in the day people wanted $1000's! And a friend of mine paid $150 for a website! that would of costed me him $3,000

So yeah. I should give it a go! :) Or try to at least!
