Search Engine Issues

Sorry for putting this here, but there did not seem to be an appropriate option.

Anyway, maybe only I am having this issue, but the search option on this site returns, “Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms,” to the keywords: IP, ip, IP address, VPN, vpn. And etc, when I know these words are in both threads and posts.

I have left the search option fields as wide open as possible, and have made adjustments, but can not get back any results. Perhaps it is having issues, or maybe I don’t know what I am doing.

Is anyone else having such trouble?

It's possible the search function was having issues when you tried. I tried just now, as did rsot, and it worked fine. A moderator may be able to shed some light here.

As it stands now, working fine, so retry to see if problem cleared.

@peapicking

It is an issue that happens when we Antipodeans users make use of the search .

To bypass it, did you try using GOOGLE ( on the bottom line of the search box)? Your info should be there then.

Good Luck.

My favourite use of vocabulary on the forum thus far.

The internal vBulletin search has limits placed on it to reduce server load, for example searching for IP will return: Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : ip

The term is too short. Try adding a word or two to your search.
