a home button

i think it would be nice to have a home buttom on top of the forum. so when you click the button, it shows the last 10 post on the forum. anyone else think this is a good idea? i am a member of a car forum and they have this function

Where would you go from there if youre focused in what YOU have only talked about? What if every member was like that? The posts wouldnt get too many hits.
