anyone else having trouble w/search box here in forum?
 

Hey,

It seems today and yesterday the search box here in the forum is not working correctly.

I tried from 2 different IP's and 2 different search browsers.

Keeps saying.... 404 error on googles end.

Anyone else having same issues?

Can one of you guys here take a minute and use the search box in the forum and tell if its working for you or not.

I keep getting the message 404 error.

Ok I figured it out... it's not the forum... it's google.

They have changed something, because I'm having same issues from
a blog that has a search box using google search and it gives the same error.

Hope they fix it soon.

Doh! It seems like Google has made some changes recently with custom search engines. I'll give it a couple days before messing with it too much. I doubt it will fix itself but let's see...

Seems like it's widespread across the internet. Tried using another site that uses google search and same.

Are you sure you are using the same "Search Box" as us?

The Google search box is the one currently not working.

Yep that's the one! But I just tried it again after seen u replied to my message and now it doesn't work!

I still have issues with search feature. Been like this for about a month or so. Weird

Quick fix. Manually replicate the custom search function. Just search within regular google search field and add "site:aspkin.com" without quote at the end of the search query. For example I wanna search about why paypal sucks, just type this following keyword without quote:
"why paypal sucks site:aspkin.com"
