I should have been clearer. As a seller I could definatley use an IM client of some sort to get in contact with prospective clients and existing clients who may have questions/need help. For me it would be a big help on the customer service side of things.

If anybody wants to be creeped out, watch HBO documentary "Jinx" thats based on his story. The guy kills his wife, then a friend, then a random dude who lives nextdoor and they can't put him away.
Remarkable story about what can happen if your family is one of the most powerful families in NY and how money can make problems go away, even if you kill somebody, or somebody three times.

It would be interesting if there is somewhere below the user name an indication of what type of seller the person is or what kind of volume they sell. Such as armature, pro, power seller etc.

Because many times answers members give my work well if you do small volume but won't work if you have thousands of dollars on sales a month.

For example many times we see the question how to withdraw from paypal, some members will say that they move money from one PP to another with no issues for months, sure it works if you move 100 bucks back and forth but surly not if you move thousands of dollars

How would anyone know how much one sells? Most of us keep much of that "stealth" on the forums and for good reasons.

True about keeping it "stealth", but could be an option for one to put.
It could follow similar to how eBay does it for the selling limits, 500/5000 amateur, 2000/20000 pro and so on,....

Or another thing that would be interesting to see is years of "stealth" experience.

Im not sure if years stealth translates into being a good stealther or business person. MANY of the smartest/tech/stealth savvy people on this forum sell a modest amount of items.

the longevity % is a relatively accurate measure of ones experience on this forum and that is a decent indicator of how long they have been needing stealth tactics.

How much volume one sells or how much in dollar amount is sold is none of anyone's business. Everyone has the right to answer questions but it's up to the person asking the question to take all that advice and decide for themselves.

Not a bad idea, a "Thread Close Vote" button or something like that.

After a certain # of votes (1 per member, only 1 vote per day, to prevent abuse) it get's flagged and a Mod is PM'd, or something like that.

Would let the community "police" threads, so the mods wouldn't be overworked. :)

We have a report button that works nicely for flagging posts that are inappropriate :)

Save favorite threads button/option.

There are a few great threads I'd like to refer to again later, but searching is a pain. Adding a "save thread" button/feature would be awesome.

You can subscribe to a thread which then makes it a lot easier to find at a later date

Or you could save the URL in your notepad here on aspkin. Ive saved a few threads that way so I can refer back to them at a later date.

Give Amazon Subscriber Forum its own "Forum" (eBay sub forum is it's own forum, and LockBox, technically the "real" eBay forum, is a subforum, resulting in many AmazonX posts being mistakenly posted to the eBay Sub forum)

Enable searching for "Most Thanked Threads". Currently you can search for threads with at least 1 "Thanks", but it's limited to 200, and due to some members having a very low threshold for "Thanking" someone, turns up a lot of useless threads.

Basically, it would work like this: Most "Thanked thread" with 76 thanks, 1st, then # 2 with 59, and so on. That way members could quickly and easily find the most valuable and useful threads without having to input endless searches for any keyword remotely associated with the topic.

Enforcing the standards for sellers of accounts and/or account services, to preserve the customer service and community of the forum (i.e. don't let people who don't have the minimum post count/time as a member sell here)
