'Tis true. But I have to add it's most but not all.

They're (we're, I guess) a product of their/our environment. So who's to blame? Strict parenting in the 50/60's led to liberal parenting in the 70/80/90's, which led to kids with no guidance being gobbled up by technology now.

is it fair that now i cannot get a mortgage loan just based on my credit score just because of a 2008 recession? That I have to prove so many factors to get a home loan.

where in previous generations people can get a home loan with just a credit score with almost zero down payment......and build equity in their home and just sit and have their home value go up and sell and have a good life?

clearly the previous generations have ruined it for the younger generation to even build wealth...because they abused the system.


the system just to get a home loan is really stupid now, you can have the 20-30-40-50 percent down payment and even a good credit score, but if you cant prove income.......then they will deny......

is it fair that I put in MORE EFFORT than the previous generation yet I am getting denied a home loan because of new application standards?

where the previous generation did not put as much effort....yet they get to enjoy building home equity?

yet the previous generations got away with it yet I have to live under this new bullsh1t standard.

Do the work in which you have interest with great efforts. There is no shortcut to success, you have to be hard workin.

Jarsky, mortgages aren't for you. Save your money and buy your house up-front. Then find other ways to build your credit that don't leave you in debt to the bank for 15-30yrs.

Whatever, you live in the strongest economy in the world. Doesn't have to be online, I know window cleaners making over $5k per month in the UK and your economy is much stronger than ours these days.

Better to work SMART

You can work hard as a slave, in a soul destroying job for an employer, and he could well be the only person reaping the real rewards.

I agree with everything here except "get a diploma".

Education is not for everyone, and it doesn't guarantee financial success. Of course having spent a great deal of time in the Philippines, I can tell you that you need a Bachelors Degree just to work at Jollibee, SM, or even a security guard at the local BDO bank branch. ;)

The thing holding most people back is themselves; they are scared to fail, or simply not motivated. Get past those two things, and sky's the limit...

To my knowledge, people who work in cybersecurity make enough money for a living, especially if the job deals with encryption. According to this e-document, https://www.academia.edu/37474878/En...ent_Industries , it's required in many spheres like Finance, Entertainment, Retail, Education, or Healthcare. And it's said that huge sums of money are spent on cybersecurity, so I can imagine how much money is involved.

If your goal is selling, then there are many ways to do this. Affiliate programs, marketplaces in America and Europe, traffic ... The main thing is to determine the direction.

self-employment nowadays is a joke.

too much competition........in every sector.....

trying to get a day job.....good luck with that I tried even with my degree and experience nobody gave a sh1t. college degrees are worthless in this environment now.

times have changed big time

you have to come up with some really creative ideas to get by other than that you are kind of screwed.

the people that will survive next next 10-50 years safely are the ones that are real rich already just collecting rents from several properties or has some crazy high up position in some tech company like google or facebook

If you're scared of spending $70s or even $1000s on things you don't understand how to make money. then there's no way you can make it. I lost about $100s before I started making money.

It does not have to be high up,it could be entry level at Google,FB,Msft,what is the starting salary now?$80k,thats too low.
bck then when oil is reaching $100,there is not enough geologist and petro engineers,in 1998,LSU graduated one petro engineer!
Staring salary back then was $80k for both engineer and geologist

I do affiliate marketing also, and ebay. I sell big ticket affiliate products and can easily make $500 and $1000 for each sale. All digital items, all profit. And I never run out of supply. Don't put all your eggs in one basket guys. Pm me if your interested.

No one gets rich selling on Ebay or AMZN,if you are doing it full time and good at what you do,you may manage to pay your monthly bills-rent,grocery,auto insurance and misc expenses ,as long as you do not live in high rent area like San Francisco and do not take expensive prescription drug .
You find a new item or idea and make some good money,soon everyone and his brother is doing the same,look at dropshipping from AMZN,I am sure the early birds do catch some fat worms,but look at it now.
