it depends on how much money you have.
I know an Ebay seller who has a few properties,a duplex with 2 apts, one mobile home and another mortgage on a trailer and land ,she also gets SS $$ and sell on Etsy and EBAY.
People will always need a home to live, cant live on the street
I read in London, some homeowners will set up some units in the backyard, usually a large room with water and electricIty and a pullman kitchen and bathroom, rent for $400 GBP to those who cant afford an apt,you get two of thesE units in your backyard and you get 800 GBP per month.
larger ones go for more like 600 GBP.
In US,some will convert the garage into an apt . Quote:

Indeed, this will take a VERY long time to achieve for me haha, but i was also wondering if flipping (refurbish and sell) houses in the UK brings tasty profit too?
Any advice is appreciated (I'm in the UK)! | which part of UK are you in now?
are you handy with household chores like fixing running toilet?
The more you can do,the better $$ !
