No silver lining here
 

I have been getting slaughtered in my silver position. In the last month it has gone from $18 to $10.90 as of now. Cost me 8 grand so far, but I am still holding in there. It will probably bottom out ONLY after I sell out my position.

Well $18 was a little high to be buying, as for being 8k down, your only down that should U decide too bail...

And as it's a manipulated crush on precious metals, i wouldn't be too concerned, use the spot as a chance too dollar cost down..

WooHoo! Back with a vengence! Silver + $12 Today. Up $1.50 in one day. Breathing a sigh of relief, I think the bottom is in.

Yeah gold was amazing.

I think the rally has more to do with the longer term outlook on the dollar. Guaranteeing fannie, freddie, and now AIG for 80+ billion, all the while flooding the system with liquidity is not good for the long term health of the dollar and that showed today. Dollar index down over a penny.

I was stopped out of my silver position. This has been a very bad month for my commodity account. My account went from $16k to 4k. I am on the sideline now licking my wounds.

The metals and the commodities will come back, but not before the dollar tops out. I am waiting to see the dolar top out and then I will take another flyer (with tight stops) on the metals.

Dollar will take time to top up. But i can say that if you are having any open position you can recovery your losses gradually and steadily.
