what is yours? | Childish, if you enjoy making money, you wouldn't be tired of making it and less holidays vacations. |

| newjerseymax | 04-10-2016 04:14 PM | Re: What are your money goals? Making Money is wonderful. I spend much time doing it. However, I do more love spending time with God, my wife and family..... |
| JamesNorth101 | 04-10-2016 04:17 PM | Re: What are your money goals? I enjoy burning my money in petrol form by driving cards with really woeful MPG
So long as I can carry on doing that and have the odd bit to eat here and there all is good in my world! |
| yankee | 04-10-2016 04:38 PM | Re: What are your money goals? This question is extremely vague.
You can go on all the cheap vacations you want or are you talking about life experiences? 90 day safaris abroad? Extravagant and luxurious hotels? Sailing around the world? Bringing 100 of your not so close friends and family on a island retreat?
Or camping in a tent near home?
Some of us want to be rich. Some of us want to be stable and comfortable. Both are great goals :) |

I'm trying to save up for property. |
| aspkin | 04-10-2016 06:09 PM | Re: What are your money goals? My everyday money goal is to make more then I spend (which is usually the case).
Monthly goal is to invest that money in something that continues the growth.
Yearly goal is to get at least 1-2 investment properties (the more the better).
Continue that until rental incomes outpace other sources of income.
Retire. |

what is yours? | My goal was to be permanently on holiday, and I have been for the last 7-8 years :)
I no longer care about weekends, public holidays, Christmas, New Year. In fact my favourite day of the week is Monday |
| vogeltron | 04-12-2016 04:40 AM | Re: What are your money goals? To continue to generate FIAT and dump it alll for real Money Gold and Silver!! Secondly, fuel my stock addiction by generating FIAT to purchase resource sector stocks.
Cash is trash. They print it, f***ing costs them nothing. Own real money!! Gold and Silver!! 5,000 years on your side!!!! Shotgun Shells and Bullets may eventually become the next currency! |

My goal is more apartment buildings. 1 down 2 more to go until I kiss ebay good bye for ever. |

Retire. | Ha this has been my goal also....
So far only made it to 2... LOL they are not cheap investment. 1 is paid off and working on other being paid off. Just one is already a nice steady extra income. Even if it becomes vacant it wont kill me as its paid off so no mortgage to worry about...
I truly believe rental properties is the ultimate retirement tool. Rents always tend to go up... Even when economy down the rents stay stable... |

Re: What are your money goals? I watched a programme once, I think Grand Designs it was where the chap worked his entire life, built a nice place from ground up in Spain, and past away moments after moving in. So he didn't quite get the chance to end up living his life/dreams.
Motto of the story being - yes it's smart to plan for tomorrow, but don't forget to live today. |
Re: What are your money goals? Or as John Lennon said "Life is what's happening when you're making other plans"
Never understand the term "Build a place from the ground up" how else can you build a place? :) |

It would be best to make the equivalent to Walmart pay from the comfort of my home minus gas, storms, and being around coworkers I have zero in common with.
Btw, made $10 in 8 min today with a survey, so I'm getting there. |

@BL - At least you're ambitious enough to understand the benefits of self-employment. I learned about business from a guy who worked me like a slave. I wouldn't dream of working for that guy again but the time I spent toiling away for him has proven to be invaluable. |

I've been doing this on and off for over 10 years. |

BTW, Walmart has way too many female employees. It would be too uncomfortable for me to work there, or anyone else where more women are employed than men. |
