Freedom | 03-11-2009 10:16 PM | roulette betting sites Has anyone done this... I cashed out 893USD from an internet casino site last night. Anyone use the modified martingale system on these sites and have similar results. No one has brought this up in money talks but there's real money to be made on sports and roulette. If you can win 20% of the time you can come ahead... I'm not talking about gambling, I'm talking about sports investing. It requires as much research as researching a stock and I've seen greater earnings from sports investing than the stock market over the past year.
Fantasy sports is the same thing, most people play for fun and that means easy money. I invested 10k in fantasy football and saw a nice return, it's a lot of work but it's a nice niche.
I'm interested in hearing your outside the box investment ideas. |
aspkin | 03-11-2009 11:21 PM | I've never done this before, but I played poker online a few times and made some money. |
Freedom | 03-11-2009 11:47 PM | I used the martingale system for football and made a killing. I used accuscore and went against the public, because vegas doesn't lose.
If you use martingale on roulette don't go black over and over because it's set up to beat systems. Either flip a coin or some random combination of odd, even, red, black... you'll win more than you lose. I use modified martingale (double or nothing +1) 1,3,7,15,31,63 and so on. 68/hr |
Freedom | 03-11-2009 11:58 PM | always cash out at x amount. gambling is a sickness and that's not what I do... my cash out number is 900, it use to be a shift 4hrs = 68 * 4 or 272. It's work and your eyes hurt but 68/hr full-time is 136k/yr. You can't do this full-time without losing yourself... 900 a week is fine for me, it's a little extra. I do take weeks off from it when it makes me feel a little crazy. |
foster | 03-12-2009 07:36 AM | I'd rather just bet on eBay. My odds are a lot better than 20%. :D |
Freedom | 03-12-2009 09:28 AM | no, you're odds are 80% for sports investing and you have to win 1 out of 8 times on roulette, but you are only winning $1 per spin. It works for me. If you go against the public you win because vegas doesn't lose. |

Freedom | 03-18-2009 08:26 PM | depends who you are, it's not for everybody. Just throwing it out there. |
GreenBean | 03-18-2009 11:14 PM | Never gamble more than you can afford to lose. Give's some pills as well please. Tis one sickness I would hate. ebay is bad enough;) |
TMiles | 03-21-2009 08:43 AM | GreenBean, my firend, your are correct!!! The house always wins over time.... |
TMiles | 03-21-2009 08:45 AM | PS - Online gambling is the world's second largest addiction, behind internet porn. Gambling will destroy life's and families quicker than alcohol or drugs... |
Jonas | 03-21-2009 05:38 PM | Roulette statistically has the best odds. The odds are still below 50% so you still lose money, just more slowly.
But why do online gambling when you can go to physical casinos? There's usually a place somewhere near you where gambling is legal.
Then go in person in a tuxedo, get a martini, meet women, stand next to a bald guy carrying a white cat, stand next to a really muscular stocky thug-looking midget with a large blacktop hat, and across the table is a guy with big scar along his face and he is smoking a long pipe, and then do gambling that way. |
Freedom | 03-21-2009 10:29 PM | LOL, it helps when things are slow.... double or nothing +1. odds of winning about 127/128. |
Flagpole | 03-24-2009 09:17 AM | Anyone, ANYONE using a Martingale system will end up in the poorhouse sooner or later.
Thats a fact.
Anyone using any system on Roullette CAN NOT win in the longrun.
Thats a fact. |
Freedom | 03-24-2009 02:39 PM | I'm way up... and it's been 3 years running a modified martingale. 1 out of 128 times you will lose, so I'm due for a loss but I have it to lose. It's a nice reward considering the risk. I lost track today and stopped at 67, but that's still 67 in less than hour. Some people make less than 67 in 8 hours so it's worth the risk. I will lose 250 eventually and I'll stop for a while... I hate losing money, but this has been working for me. It gives me something to do while I wait for answers to my ebay questions. |
Freedom | 03-24-2009 02:44 PM | Martingale isn't worth the risk... 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128 to win $1 is silly. 1,3,7,15,31,63,127 to win $7 is much more sound. You can't just pick black either you need a random method. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:31 AM. | |
