But it is not quite the same concept, eBay's Monahan told BBC News Online. While everyone knows what a mart is, he explained, the use of "bay" is not entirely understood, even by the eBay's own staff.

:suspicious:

eBanza.com NO LISTING FEES!!! NO EVIL!!! POWER TO THE SELLERS!!!!

Hi, I think what your doing is great. And could be a good start to something. I signed up but when I click the link to become seller verified, I get a whole mess of PHP errors.

And just a couple more things. For example:

From 0.01 USD To 99,999,999,999,999.98 USD in the fees section. It is a bit of a turnoff, I see your point but I think you could find a better way to express those figures, that sort of an overwhelming not really feasible number is unnecessary and might confuse and throw people off a little. Also ther eis no percentage next to the listing fees.

I also think what aspkin said is right, you should get a talented cheap graphic designer to design a little better logo. Dont get me wrong, im not saying that logo is crap, im just saying that it is a little amateur-like. Especially if you expect the site to attract and keep people staying.

The white font that is used for the header is also a little amateur looking. I know what type of look you were going for with that logo and header fonts. I just think that a more professional looking style would attract more people.

These are all very easy fixes. As far as the overall direction the site is going, I think your doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

eseller 04-12-2009 11:51 PM

Sorry about that Ill verify you mannually

eseller 04-12-2009 11:55 PM

ok you should be all good to go if your still getting any errors let me know

Been there, done that.

Evidence has found that sellers don't want a site that's good or treats them nice, but a site that's popular and treats them like dirt.

aspkin 04-15-2009 11:47 PM

I agree, go to eBay.com and PayPal and model off their site designs.

The main thing that bothers me is how your site expands too much width wise.

And then how it's aligned left.

You should center align everything and cut down the width a bit, like ebay.com has it.

I know you don't want to be like ebay.. but design wise ebay is killing you.

Good work on the SEO though. That's the hardest part really.

Ebanza ..

I am wondering what you are going to do about security ?

How will you guarantee buyers protection against scams ?

I don't think that is true?

I think people (sellers) just want to sell their its in peace, make money online and have a STABLE place to do it with out the thought of suspension and loss of income hanging over their head
