Mercari app anyone sells there?
 

I have been selling on Mercari for quite a long time and sold there just within this year 50k$ worth of stuff, profiting about 35$K.

Now it comes with challenges, they do not have good customer service and there are a lot of scammers.

Mercari will suspend your account quite often , may be I had more than 10 accounts suspended and always received warning messages that if you come back , we will hold your funds indefinitely, well today I tried withdrawing 900+ usd from sales in my balance and I can't, seems they really will hold your funds which is pretty illegal I think.

I do believe its legal for them to hold.You can read agreement if in any doubt.
You play in their garden so have to accept rules or leave

It's illegal to hold funds indefinitely. Send an email telling them you will file a complaint with BBB and consumer affairs. Also you will get an attorney to file a lawsuit to get your funds. It is not worth it for them to go through court proceedings and litigation. They should release your funds after a certain amount of days.

We had the a similar message, requesting to take out 899. They informed us that it was on hold for 90 days, if it doesn't get release to contact them. it is the first time it has been, we never had a issue. They seems to be adding more rules. Our account have been getting banned quicker and quicker.

I tried to sell on Mercari but it's a lot slower than eBay, I'm currently suspended on eBay so trying every alternative I can

They hold funds until buyer says received and in order.

I heard about mercari.... but it seems only works for USA citizens... dont remember why, but some months ago i tried to sell and i couldnt.

I started selling on Mercari, and it works very well, there is traffic, so the items sell.

Also they upgraded their web application and now it is possible to post items directly on the web, not only on a smartphone.

I hope they will continue improving their web application, there are features only available on smartphones like accepting an offer form a buyer.

do you have vcc for mecari? i tried to use vanilla but it did not work. There's no seller on the market place offer vcc for mecari.

Do you have android 's ? get some cheap android phones if you want to make multiple accounts
