wookster 05-11-2009 10:26 AM

55755 users & 1,837,430 listings as of May 11th

TGMT² 05-11-2009 10:53 AM

^^^^^^^

Do we really need this count EVERYDAY?

Lyda 05-11-2009 10:57 AM

I believe Wookster is just too excited about it all, TheyGotMeToo.. But, yea, I agree that maybe once a week like on Mondays would produce more impressive numbers.

wookster 05-11-2009 01:35 PM

Yes I am very excited and the numbers are growing so fast it is unbelievable! I will try and tame the posts and limit it to every other day or something. I dont have time for a posting schedule as I tend to post on and off when my 4 & 2 yr old r behaving and sitting still momentarily during the day.

Juicyas 05-12-2009 11:40 AM

What % of those numbers are strictly buyers and what % are sellers who don't buy?

It wouldn't mean much if 90% of them were sellers and only 5500 buyers~!

gurusgrafx 05-12-2009 11:55 AM

^^^thats what I'm wondering. it may be set up great but how many items are actually being sold. I guess I'll put an hour or two into listing some stuff see what happens.

SevnSins 05-12-2009 01:16 PM

She's got my attention.

I've been watching this thread, and poked around the site yesterday. I'll be posting tonight.

:bounce:

100% Agree!

What I am interested in is if "anyone" has even sold one thing on Bonanzle?

I know Lyda has listed a couple of items, but she has not commented an any sales as of yet...not person on this forum has had a sale on there yet as far as I can gather.

I'm going to try and list a popular item on Bonanzle that sells easily on eBay tonight and see what happens.

SevnSins 05-12-2009 01:34 PM

That's what I'm saying. Can't hurt to try.

%^&*, lord knows I've tried everything under the sun to stay on eBay. Why not give them 30 minutes of my time. If it works, then great.

:typing:

Vicvelcro 05-12-2009 01:39 PM

It probably won't take you 30 minutes to get signed up and have items listed.

Lyda 05-12-2009 01:41 PM

I list authentic items, so they are expensive to start with and harder to sell in general. I added few more listings since last time, but I am shooting to have 200+ listings there as I think the more you have the sooner you start selling. Also, I have not yet submitted my listings to Google search (which is great free feature in Bonazle), so maybe that's why. But yes, there are people on this forum claiming they have sales.

Who is claiming to have sales on Bonanzle?

Anyone except Wookster...who I think is a stock holder in their company. LOL

LOL! I'm sure your right. An hour is more realistic.

:peace:

Lyda 05-12-2009 02:59 PM

Not true! It took me a second to sign up.. 4 easy steps. They GotMeToo, I did read about people having sales on this form, I don't make things up. I'll look for the posts and let you know.:peace:

Wookster is obviously affiliated with Bonanzle and not hiding it..so???
Besides it would be tha last reason I signed up and started listing. The site is grrreat, and will beat Ebay in time.

Lyda 05-12-2009 03:16 PM

Here it is for you TheyGotmeTo...Its a post by Trg005, I think.

Lyda 05-12-2009 03:45 PM

Told ya!:pop2:

Vicvelcro 05-12-2009 03:47 PM

As I recall it, I spent maybe 15 minutes signing up AND listing half dozen items, setting up payment options, and enabling google base feed - combined time invested. It might have been less.

Lyda 05-12-2009 04:09 PM

Yea, and how much time do we save by uploading images directly into Bonanzle? Its real fast... A bunch! I list to Ebay through auctiva and its forever to upload images and it seems like I always have some tech problem doing it... I like Auctiva, but uploading images there drives me nuts!

wookster 05-12-2009 06:55 PM

Actually I am not a stock holder nor affiliated with Bonanzle at all. Just been in the online selling game for over 6 years now and have seen them all and Bonanzle just blows me away. I love to spread the good word on sites and things I find that I feel are important. Friends and family call me 411 from time to time

For everyone wondering how many buyers are on Bonanzle just go and do a search on something using the "sold in last year" filter. I typed in diamond, currently there is 32446 items listed with the word "diamond" now use the sold filter and I find 914 items sold.

I think I am going to buy some Bonanzle stock or something thou.....hmmmm

TMiles 05-13-2009 06:46 AM

This thread is too funny. Over and over people are asking about sales and yet no one has bothered to truly answer. The numbers of listing and users is not as important as the sales' figures.

If you recall, last year "onlineauctions.com' and "sell.com," were showing millions and millions of listings, but hardly any sales.

So, please someone tell us about your "selling" experience, not your listing experience...

Lyda 05-13-2009 08:06 AM

Give it some time TMiles, give it some time.......Will happen!
