 Amazon's new free shopping cart
It seems we are all looking for a shopping cart solution.
Aspkin recommends CS Cart and others recommend zen cart.
For me the problem with those is that they are total cms site systems and they do not integrate Amazon payments (which I have good success with), and they are clunky, difficult to learn systems.
What I have and others have been doing is using wordpress (Joomla, typepad etc..) for the site build and then just adding in shopping cart code (ala mercantec for me). Blog systems are better at seo and much easier to get links for. ( ie blog catalog, technorati etc.. and all ways to get your feed out there)
Well I just got a email from amazon about their new free shopping cart.

It's just a few lines of code that you plug into your page.
Nice, I love all amazon logos on the pop up, builds trust.
I will be experimenting with it and report back.
Oh! the other thing I just learned is Amazon payments now offers monthly subscription billing.
- A must have, you need to offer some kind of monthly program to get in on the continuity bandwagon.
