paypal alternative
 

So i have been using Authorize.net for two of my shops (own domain not ebay) and its been working well. Before I was using stripe but more sales they wanted more paper work etc.. (which i sent) but sometimes it gets denied despite showing the proof and was a headache. Authorize.net is pretty good but thinking of getting a third shop (i have three different niches that's why).

Can someone recommend a payment gateway? I'm using chase paymentech right now that is connected with authorize.net.

If I do authorize.net via wells fargo let say. Would this be separate from my chase and if something goes wrong it won't get all banned?

I also tried 2checkout or something like that and the application process was pretty tedious..

I do miss my paypal lol But screw them for taking me down after 17 years

If you lose a shop that is connected to Authorize.net and there are chargebacks/issues, you'll lose all shops with it. So if you're selling something on your own website that could cause this you may need to rethink it.

Otherwise, most banks have their own card processing that you can apply for. You can use various payment gateways if they don't provide one. If you just google them a bunch will come up that you can review to fit your needs.

You also have Paypal similar Dwolla, Apple Pay, WorldPay, Adyen, etc.

So my authorize.net is two accounts though. When I registered for it, they wanted to know items I sell. My two niche shops are different so they recommended i have two accounts. Seems like if one goes down it won't affect the other as it seems separate.

So let say chase says you have too many chargebacks and limits your selling or doesn't want to associate with your business. If going to wells fargo who handles authorize.net as well should be separate entity right since authorize.net is just a middle guy and the bank is taking the risk of working with you for most part..

Thank you fopr the alternative ... Dwolla and Adyen seems like new ones to me i should check out. Has to work with shopify though.
