| oompaloompa | 11-25-2018 02:19 PM | Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? any platform you use where you sell to the general public by post is risky for this item.... |

Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? OP, might have to deal with local diamond dealers - diamonds are one of those stones that are "priceless" meaning the prices are set by the buyer/demand... |

| SaiJin | 11-26-2018 09:52 AM | Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? You're in India right? And these are REAL diamonds>?
India is very well known as one of the top producers of precious metals and stones.
Why not try to do it locally? |
| BlackLion | 11-26-2018 11:52 AM | Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? Diamonds aren't worth much. They are just hoarded by a specific organization (i'll let you guess who), which makes it seem as if diamonds are rare, when they are really available in abundance. I know a lot about precious metals, and stones. I'm not sure if you're looking to resell diamonds as a business, or just trying to get rid of one you own. Make sure you know the clarity, cut, carat weight, and the color of the diamond you're selling to try to get the most money as possible. |

retail prices you see are nothing like what you can sell it back for to a dealer.... |

When you say they are not genuine, do you mean that they are glass? |

When you say they are not genuine, do you mean that they are glass? | That's the only reason why OP is trying to sell them online :) |
| identity | 01-06-2019 09:55 AM | Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? No it's a natural (real) diamond for sell. |

If they are small and of bad colours (meaning less than VVS2) and ungraded without certificate, they are not gonna be worth much. Just sell them on ebay. Lots of cheap diamonds sold there. |
Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? I do not understand the need to sell a diamond online, there is a much higher risk of being scammed or it will look like you are scamming. Do some research by yourself of reputable companies on your local area that will take it. To sell diamonds online on a decent marketplace you will need the correct certification clearly stating its clarity, color and size.
I see hardly any pros to selling this item online and there is a long list of cons. |

Who did you rob ?
Selling jewelry online is very risky. |

Selling jewelry online is very risky. | I have sold jewelry online ,up to $1k.
There were some scammers, they will ask you t ship here and ship there, and they can buy counterfeit money order, cashier checks so you think it is safe until your bank told you it aint.
sometimes the problem is not the buyer,it is the customs office or post office . |

Must be ten years ago, counetfeit USPS postal orders are being printed overseas, one electronic seller took them to cash at the local post office and he was greeted by 2 USPS armed security guards, asking him to step into backoffice to be interrogated!
There are also counterfeit money orders bought from small grocers, counterfeit corporate and personal checks.
They are coming from overseas printers who print checks, the USPS postal orders look the same, but it has no watermark |

| agent006140 | 03-16-2019 11:27 AM | Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? no more ⊗⊗⊗⊗ USPS postal orders,USPS must have caught who is printing them.
I sent all mine in to USPS fraud dept, should have kept one for myself as souvenir,it has no watermark and the paper feels different.
it must be 2005 ,they came from UK |
Re: Where to sell loose diamond ? i had f*ke USPS postal orders in 1997-1999'ish - bank was helpful in verifying them - thankfully few and far in-between. |
