Started my new blog :)
 

Hey peeps.

Started my new blog called The Back Pages.org, it all started when I was constantly buying papers just to read the back of the page for sports news.. Then I thought.. Why not take all that post it on the web and save everyone else the trouble?!

Well here it is The Back Pages.org*|*The back pages of the UK press.

It's still in beta mode and being tested but I'm pretty pleased with it so far..

What you guys think?

It actually looks pretty good. I have never heard of a blog being in "beta mode" though :)

I like the WP theme you used, you should nuke the casino links in the footer.

A couple things,

How is your content not considered copyright theft?

You don't even link through to originator. I don't know about UK copyright law but in the the US the Associated Press just sued a slew of sites for content theft and the sites they sued, linked through to the originator and just used a snippet.

Given this, and the fact your site's dns is on UK servers. You are just one complaint away from having your site taken down.

If you are going to do site like that with stolen content.

You should register the domain in Shanghai, with Chinese DNS and host in Panama.

_ Panamainian hosts laugh at DCMA complaints and they will not act until the complainant sues in Panamanian court. Their hosting is almost as cheap and as good as a US host.

--Chinese hosts suck, but for domain registration it's the way to go because, they won't revoke unless action is taken in China.

Copyright action in China? Ha Ha Ha!!

Also don't use your name or any email address with your name or a .co.uk when registering, use a DBA company name and free email host like Yahoo.cn.

No need to get sued in the UK for using your name.
