Mercari Stealth Newbie
 

So my Mercari account was recently suspended with a little over 3k still waiting to be deposited. I received the notification today that they needed me to verify my ID, so I gave them what they wanted, my SSN and DOB. My guess is they’ll come back in a few days and tell me I can withdraw in 90 days from what I’ve read here.

Anyways, I love Mercari. Such a simple app and I was able to make a living off it until I got hit with the ban hammer.

I’ve got two smart phones that I want to use to begin selling with.

Since Mercari has my bank info (BOA) what bank (or does it even matter) would you all recommend? And when creating a new checking account using said bank, using my real name/address/SSN is ok, right? Does Mercari only see the name, address, and checking account # (from new bank account) I give them when I sign up?

Merc receives no info from the bank. They only know what you tell them.
