advice on my paypal situation
 

Hi there guys i've just had my account limited.

Paypal are asking for:

Submit your inventory receipts
Provide purchase receipt from your supplier
Provide information on account activity

also got a email asking for business model, business plan to deal with disputes why disputes increased. % of sales being dropshipped.


Spoke on the phone and answered most of the email questions. If anyone could give me advice id appreciate it. i have 4800$ in the account. this was my only payment gateway and probably gonna need a new gateway or a new paypal for my shopify if that even possible.

Account impact:
Cant Withdraw money from PayPal
Cant Send money or payments
Cant Pay using PayPal

weirdly can still recieve money.

Provide them with what theyre asking for if you can and hope for the best. I myself wouldn't be holding my breath.
And if you cannot give them what theyre asking for then move on - not much else to it unfortunately.

Any advice is it as simple as just making a new paypal? or have i got to enter different information? will my money be locked for 180 days? Any recommended payment gateways or is this my business over.

Hi, there's still a higher chance you can pass that. Do you have the invoices ready?
Also, you really need a very detailed POA to address the issues with the additional information they asked for.

Good luck. Even if they approve your account PayPal cannot be trusted. They terminated my 15 year old account without reason and transferred the entire balance to themselves citing the reason "Damages to PayPal".

Why would you leave $4800 in paypal, You should sweep it every $300 and only leave enough to pay ebay fees in it.

were your dropshipping or engage in retail arbitrage?
Were there too many disputes and returns?

payment getway are stripe,squareup and auhorize net

If I were you I would stop accepting payments to this account. In my experience, when this happens, they are suspect a violation of the aup. A high majority of people on here have had their entire balance taken for damages for violation. It is very easy to violate and no one from paypal will ever say what was done to violate or how it caused them damages.

What did you sell?
What % dropshipped?
why so many disputes?
Your $4800 would not be returned to you after 180 days if you dont satisfy them,give them what they asked .

As others said swith to another payment method. Stripe is great for my sites, great reports for accounting. Square is good too. Authorize.net are scammers. Best of luck to you. They did this to me then closed my account, hopefully that is not the case
