Mercari Holding funds
 

Hi everyone, I had a mercari account and I was knew on it. I kept saving money to transfer it later , but they suspended my account . They also increased the release dates like they were due to be released today and they said they are going to release in after 3 months.


is there a chance they are going to release funds >?

I would guess in 3 months like they told you.

Yep, been there before. Takes the 3 months. ALWAYS withdraw your money when you can. Take this as a lesson learned.

I got banned about 2 weeks ago. Had about 1k I tried to deposit and got hit with the ban, so Mercari canceled the deposit before it could go through. I still had multiple items selling and am now at a balance of 2,800$. I have to wait 90 days until I can withdraw my money and then they'll remove my account.

I've talked to a few others on Reddit about being in this same predicament and they all said that Mercari gave them their cash back after the suspension, whether you get 30, 60, or 90 days.

glad to hear. Merc and Posh have both threatened to not give back in the past

Last night I deleted all my for sale items because I wanted to revamp my store. This morning I wanted to repost and I couldn't. I was asked to verify my account with my ID and face.. I did. 5 or so hours later I was told they were alerted about active on my account and I need to verify my name, address, and SSN. When I clicked verify they said something was wrong. I did this four time and then they suspended me. I'm not sure if it was me deleting my post or what but I have money that I can't get out. I've sent emails, sent message form Twitter and to the help center.

I don't understand why they would do this without reason

I also got banned from them like the day I'm posting this and you're saying I have to wait 90 days after they sent me a message of being banned for them to allow me to deposit my balance.
