Paypal with shopify.
 

Hey guys,
I have a question.
Does someone know what does it take to have my funds directly available on paypal after someone buy with paypal checkout ? On my main paypal the funds are directly available but I tried to create a new one and funds goes on hold. So I guess my question is : after how many transactions do they don’t hold your funds anymore ?

I have a paypal account that is almost 2 years old and that i use with shopify, this account has a lot of transactions history, when i get orders from my website sometimes for like 20 orders the money are available and sometimes all the money orders are on hold for 21 days.. this is very random

PP holding funds is part of the game, is hard to predict but crucial to prepare for so you don't hinder your growth. How much and how long will they hold depends on risk factors like account track record, rapidly rising volume, changes in the source of sales, the quality of your order fulfillment, resolution cases and so on.
