Stealth Mercari Tax

So, I have found a source that sells Mercari accounts that have already been verified. The problem is it is verified with the old w2 information. Would Mercari flag the account if I changed it to my EIN number and LLC and ask for id? I don't want someone getting a tax bill that isn't theirs.

Changing that kind of info feels like a big flag, requiring ID submission

I gambled it. Of course, it didn't verify. It didn't shut the account down, but I'm not about to do identity theft and tax fraud. It updated the data, but is stuck at "verifying".

Hopefully, it doesn't tank the account until the end of the year. Otherwise, I plan to document the updated screen with screenshots and file the taxes. Because the information now shows MY true information for filing. Not about to play with identity issues and non-tax payments.

I got one with the same situation. Changed tax info and its stuck

They WILL come back and ban you. Even when I entered my tax info, it changed to the old info and limited the account several months later.

I don't think there is one - maybe check marketplace if the seller exists; seller will be there

I didn't see one on marketplace either, but I read couple treads saying they bought stealth so I am asking around
