Default official website to research banned Ingredients

Is there a website that list banned ingredients in the UK/EU

For Herbal Dietary/Food Supplements? etc

eBay has a page that states what is allowed, banned, or restricted, but its very broad and non specific

If you already have the items, it's better to check if your items are prohibited or not.

If you're looking for an item in that category to sell, well keep researching.

I'd think for UK there's a government page that lists all these? a specific division of the government?

Don't have the products yet, but Im aware of the ingredients, but want to check first to make sure everything is straight before investing. Product only has 3 ingredients, I have checked on eBay, and seems that the ingredients are found on eBay within other products, but from experience I know that doesn't mean much, need to make sure 100%

for UK: this is a start http://www.gov.uk/government/publica...al-ingredients

EU I don't think would have a universal list...it's probably country specific like for the UK

You can always ask on Ebay seller forum using an account you do not use for selling?

I feel that's a waste of time - info would hardly be ideally sourced

problem is it;'ll never be 100% certainty....

how about calling ebay ask try to ask?

Or look at other sellers who have been selling those ingredients for a long time, then see what the requirements are if any?

I don't sell anything related to this but I know enough not to call eBay hoping for accurate information. Let's say you call and speak to someone knowledgable like in merchant support, their knowledge might be exactly what damages you because majority of other agents don't.

Agree, not comfortable asking eBay about such matters

I think rsot provided the best source at the moment. Its the only direct website I know that provides details

I know, but if you call from a fresh phone or at least from a dedicated buyer account then it shouldn't matter.

I do that from time to time when trying to get some info.
