Tiktok Shop for International Residents
 

Hoping someone can help me here. I tried to open a tiktok shop account as a Canadian - but it's not offered here. I explored opening a seller account in USA using an LLC based in USA, but it still wants the personal information of "primary business person" including name, DOB, address (in USA), SIN or ITIN, and it makes it clear that this person is the one who is operating the business and asks for their % ownership of the company also. Maybe it will even ask for ID on the next step... Is it not possible to operate as a foreigner with an American LLC? Did the requirements change, or am I missing something?

You can operate it as a foreigner but it'll need an itin.
