Mercari increasing fees again
 

So this time seller fees will be 10% flat and $2 disbursement fee.

WTF is wrong with these people?? $2 disbursement fee???

I'm guessing they aren't relieving the buyers off the extra fees they charge now too, do they?

They're trash anyway, I tried years ago and, like other marketplaces, everything just sat. I'm focusing on keeping my prices as low as possible and sticking to Etsy and egay for the moment

I've been testing them casually for a few years now.

Some items will sit forever.... but some do sell like on eBay.

So now mercari charges sellers a flat 10% and buyers like what? 4.6%?

Double dipping.

Doesn't seem that conducive to buyers if the fee for them as well...

It sounds like they need the money.
Auction sites do that,and the buyers just bidded lower !

Man i was hoping the new Mercari would be different with the email they sent me. They said they was going back to how they use to be, i guess that was slightly a lie. I remember i took a break then jumped back on to sell an iPad...Buyers was message me about buyers fee this and that and i was like what???? Jesus man. Hell just put the fee on the seller so we can price accordingly instead of having to worry about the buyer paying additional **** and we can see it outright.

they had no seller fee for less than a year and they did go back to how they used to be.... charging the seller a fee.... a HIGHER fee then not changing the buyer fee.
