For the love of me I cant beat depop
 

Hello I sell on depop and every time I end up getting suspended for things out of my control, Im 16 and cant be on the app legally plus buyers scam often partially because I sell sought after archive fashion pieces. I have tried to do stealth on depop many times with varying success. On the Desktop version many functions such as account verification and updating details for payout are limited. I find theres usually no way around this unless I pay someone for an account on mobile. I have tried to use a cloud android device to bypass this mobile requirement but depop have purposely made this unavailable. Does anyone have any ways to bypass this ? does anyone have any cloud phones that can run depop ? just any help please.

They are owned by Etsy and are some of the most self righteous C*unts in the Ecommerce space you would genuinely be a lot better off on Ebay or Vinted

It wasn't always like that on depop though back in 2017 you could get away with murder on there I think once Etsy bought them in 2021 they really tightened the platform their well known now to want sellers to be whiter than white

I don't do much business on the platform anymore and thats mainly because of the Gen Z crowd thats on there who are all trying to buy things to immediately flip themselves so are constantly low balling , asking stupid questions , wasting time and just being generally a pain in the ass

IMO depop is Not worth the headache anymore the type of customer on there is delusional

But if you are hell bent on selling on there just buy a new phone and sim

incognition is a good mobile emulator - never used it on Depop but used it for several other things and always worked well for me

I defiantly sell on Depop lol....

I made about $80k from it last year.

Depop is my second tier marketplace. I've capped the amount I will sell on eBay monthly, which is $20k, I have zero desire to exceed this amount even if I can. The "second tier" marketplaces are my fillings monthly. So when you combine all them, its like hybrid stealth. Instead of spreading my sales across multiple eBay accounts which I stopped doing back in 2016, I learned after 2020 this is the better approach.

Depop for the month of August is great because its back to school which most consumers fall into this bracket. It is also amazing during December because of gift shopping.

Just like anything you have to learn how each marketplace operates and play the game.
