Default Managing Content Files for E-Commerce Platforms

I’ve checked out a few e-commerce platforms, and I've seen that it can be tough to handle different product files like manuals and invoices, especially when they come in all sorts of formats.

Sometimes, suppliers send PDFs, but we actually need text we can change to update product details or translate descriptions.

Has anyone figured out an easy way to turn PDFs back into editable formats without messing things up?

I’ve been trying out a basic PDF-to-Word converter, like PDF to Word, to pull content when suppliers send locked files. It works fine for my needs.

I'm just wondering how everyone else deals with different document types on platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce, mostly when updates have to be done quickly and accurately.

Yeah, this is a common issue in e-commerce. PDFs are fine for viewing, but not great for quick edits. Converting them to Word or using OCR tools usually helps, but formatting can still break sometimes.

In most cases, it’s better to standardize formats with suppliers or use a content management system to keep everything consistent. Saves a lot of time in the long run
