Where to find investor/partner or buyer for my business project?
 

Hello guys,

I hope you are doing well.

I’ve spent the last six months building an interesting project with huge growth potential, it attracted 500+ users in the first month alone without any advertising and everything was built from scratch.

However, due to financial problems, I now need to either sell it or find a partner who would buy a stake (e.g., half the project) and invest in it.

It is a unique job board platform.

Could you point me in the right direction on where to find such buyers or partners quickly and safely, avoiding scams?

Your project is not yet investable and definitely won't sell. Even if those 500 users are all paying users, you don't even have proof of concept yet. You need to keep building, if you think it can scale, or abandon it. You have less than nothing right now.

500 users with no ad spend in month one is not nothing, so I wouldn't go as far as saying he has less than nothing. But it's also not something you can sell for real money yet, those are just different things. Nobody is paying for potential, they pay for proof it makes money or people stick around.

If you want an actual investor you probably need revenue or retention numbers first, that's just how it goes. What might work better right now is finding a partner instead, someone who puts in dev time or does the marketing in exchange for a stake, that's a much easier sell than asking someone to write a check. Indie Hackers is decent for that kind of thing, r2/SideProject too. If you do want to just sell it outright, Flippa and Acquire.com are where that stuff usually happens, Flippa especially has a lot of early stage projects on there.

One thing though, whatever you do don't hand over the domain or codebase before you actually have the money, use escrow for that part. Most of the scam stories in this space come from people skipping that step, not from ⊗⊗⊗⊗ buyers.

Yes, maybe I expressed myself incorrectly.
I need a partner or an early-stage investor for a nominal fee.
You can look at the project work chimp . net (there are a lot of things and algorithms there).

I hadn't planned on selling it or looking for a partner, but unfortunately, circumstances require it.
I have over 15 years of experience in online business and realize that this will be a highly successful project.

For instance, you could add Google AdSense right now, but I don’t want to clutter the site with ads, it’s already set up to generate profit and earn commissions from employers and workers.
